Whole Foods works on three main principles: whole foods, whole people and whole planet. The company seeks out the “highest quality, least processed, most flavorful and natural foods possible” due to the belief that food in its purest taste is the tastiest and most nutritious. Vis-à-vis “whole people,” Whole Foods Markets sees its people as its company. The employees are proponents of healthy food and a healthy planet. And that brings us to the third principle of the company: whole planet – taking care of the world around us, supporting organic farming and sustainable agriculture as a way of doing this.
